Complete 100: Building the Trust Dividend

Share

This year marks the 21st edition of the Complete 100, Black Sun Global’s annual review of FTSE 100 reporting. Our theme this year, Happy Returns: Building The Trust Dividend, reflects the shift we’ve observed in companies using the report as a value creation tool and how organisations can leverage it to build trust and long-term value.

Date: Thursday 21st May

Time: 9:00-9:45am plus an optional 15 mins for Q&A

Format: Webinar (register here)

Drawing on in‑depth analysis of FTSE 100 reporting, this session will focus on translating research findings into clear, practical action for reporting, sustainability, and communications teams.

This year’s research explores how trust is being redefined in an environment shaped by regulatory change, heightened scrutiny, and growing expectations around transparency and accountability. It examines the practical choices organisations are making in areas such as structure, messaging, digital disclosure, and governance, highlighting where leading reporters are finding clarity and coherence, and where opportunities remain to strengthen confidence and credibility through reporting.

By attending, participants will:

  • Gain insight and takeaways from the latest Complete 100 research: Explore the key findings from Black Sun’s latest research, highlighting how leading reporters are responding to rising regulatory pressure, stakeholder scrutiny, and shifting expectations around trust, culture, and transparency
  • Understand what leading reporters do differently: Examine how the strongest reports bring clarity, coherence, and credibility to complex disclosure requirements and what sets them apart structurally, narratively, and digitally.
  • Identify emerging best practice across reporting and digital disclosure: Review practical examples from FTSE 100 reports that demonstrate how organisations are applying trust principles across strategy, governance, performance, and sustainability content.
  • Explore how to turn research into results: We will share some practical tips on how you can incorporate some the Complete 100 insights, principle by principle, within your own annual report, sustainability report, and digital reporting ecosystem, from messaging and structure to usability and engagement.

Who should attend?

This webinar is designed for senior professionals responsible for shaping corporate reporting and stakeholder communications, including:

  • Corporate reporting & finance leaders
  • Sustainability & ESG teams
