Following the acquisition of G4S in 2021, Allied Universal knew it had to unite the disparate parts of the business that were working on ESG topics. Building on work to support G4S, a client for many years, Black Sun revisited the existing reporting approach to ensure it would meet the needs of various stakeholder groups.

The process
During the preparation for the 2022 ESG report, Black Sun reviewed and appraised the newly formed organisation’s approach to the UN SDGs and provided strategic consultancy for content development.
We also used our proprietary sustainability communications methodology developed to assist our clients which helped to create a roadmap for the 2022 report. We conducted detailed peer benchmarking against the same proprietary sustainability communications methodology.
