Introduced by Compass Group in 2017, Stop Food Waste Day aims to bring awareness and help reduce the amount of food being wasted every day.
Compass Group is a world-leading food and beverages company that serves more than 5.5 billion meals a year. Their commitment to tackling food waste is aligned to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development goal #12.5 as they work to halve food waste by 2030.
