Black Sun shortlisted for Communicate Magazine’s Internal Communications and Engagement Awards 2019

Stakeholder communications agency Black Sun shortlisted for Communicate Magazine’s Internal Communications and Engagement Awards 2019.
Black Sun is delighted to announce we have been shortlisted for Communicate Magazine’s, ‘Best use of mobile or apps’ Award with our client Vesuvius plc.
The employee app ‘V.LINK’ addressed the challenge of communicating with a workforce split among several local entities and had to reach about 6,700 non-connected employees working on industrial sites across the globe, with no company email address.
Alongside the technical design, branding and architecture of the app, we created the editorial framework to guide content creation and produced a launch campaign that included film, screensavers, posters and adverts to cater for the various attitudes towards technology that exist with a clear objective to get as many employees as possible to download the app and sign-in.
The inaugural Internal Communications and Engagement Awards evening celebrates the impact internal communications has on a business, the role of the internal communicator within an organisation and the creative strategies developed to promote an engaged workforce.
Mirko Saverese, Chief Technology Officer at Black Sun said, “We are delighted the App we created for Vesuvius has been shortlisted. As an integrated stakeholder communications agency we understand the importance of building digital channels that connect companies with their critical internal stakeholders, employees.”
The Awards will take place in Spring 2019. For a full list of shortlisted companies and agencies, visit Communicate Magazine.
