Communicate Magazine: Communicating Company Culture

Following the release of our Culture Report, Emily Andrews shares her views on some interesting points and key findings in communicating company culture.

Emily reiterates that purpose is pertinent to an organisation as it defines their reason for existence and the value they offer while culture is equally important to their success.

The UK 2014 Corporate Governance Code emphasised the importance of the role the board plays in establishing the culture of a company. However, our research highlights that only 14% directly report on culture.

We believe that the number of FTSE 100 companies reporting on culture is bound to increase due to UK regulators placing more focus on this topic. In addition, organisations are becoming more aware of the importance of establishing their culture, values and ethics to promote good practice.
