International success for De Beers Group

The winning streak continued for De Beers Group when it was announced recently that they claimed both a gold and silver award for their digital achievements at the Stevie® Award International Business Awards.

De Beers Corporate Website took gold in the Metals & Mining category, while the Diamond Insight Report 2014 was awarded silver in the Best Interface Design category.

The Stevie® Awards are the world's premier business awards.  They were created in 2002 to honour and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organisations and working professionals worldwide and have become one of the business world's most coveted prizes.

Black Sun worked with the De Beers Group to produce both the Insight Report and the corporate website. Both sites fulfil the initial brief to push creative boundaries to create an interactive, engaging user experience. The result fulfils De Beer’s desire to position themselves as both industry and digital communications leaders.

This is not the first time that De Beers Group has been recognised for their digital efforts. The Insight Report was successful at the London Design awards and the corporate site picked up gold at the iNova awards.

Stevie Award winners will be celebrated and presented their awards at a gala banquet at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto, Canada on Friday, 23 October.
