De Beers Group wins Gold at the London Design Awards

De Beers Group’s Diamond Insight Report has won the Gold Award for ‘Best Digital Experience – Website’ at the London Design Awards 2014.
Black Sun worked with De Beers to create their inaugural Diamond Insight Report to highlight in an accessible manner the challenges facing the diamond industry. A ground-breaking opportunity for Black Sun, the digital concept was developed first, pushing creative boundaries to create an interactive, engaging user experience. The result fulfils De Beer’s desire to position themselves as both industry and digital communications leaders.
The category ‘Best Digital Experience – Website’ celebrates innovation and creativity in design, using a combination of text, audio, images, animation, video and interactive elements to create a unique user experience. Key judging criteria included clarity of communication and audience-specific style, functionality and content.
