Company Secretary's Review: Integrated Reporting

This article by Sallie Pilot, looks at the draft framework on Integrated Reporting launched by the International Integrated Reporting Council in April this year. 

There is a broad consensus that corporate reporting is not fit for purpose. The needs and requirements of the market are moving rapidly, with legislation and technologies evolving, and reporting has long failed to keep peace. Stakeholders, regulators and companies alike recognise the need for change towards a model that better meets their requirements and adequately captures the value created and destroyed by organisations.
