Last week saw three of Black Sun's Russian Clients storm award ceremonies across Russia's capital including the XV Annual Report Competition by Securities Market magazine, a similar ceremony organised by RTS-MICEX Stock Exchange, and the Annual Report Competition run by leading Russian Rating Agency, Expert RA.

NLMK, one of the four largest steel companies in Russia, picked up the award for 'Best Annual Report' in the Metallurgy industry at the Securities Market magazine competition as well as winning 'Best design’, ‘Best communication of the investment case' and 'Best Annual Report' in the metallurgical industry at the RTS-MICEX competition. The Group's online report was also highly acclaimed, scooping the 'Best online report' award at the Securities Market magazine competition. The online report, which boasts innovative and cutting-edge technological design, has been no stranger to awards on this side of the pond either; it won the silver award for 'Best use of digital' in the Manufacturing and Engineering industry at the Digital Impact Awards in London, earlier this autumn.

Uralkali's Annual Report also proved a roaring success by winning a whole host of awards including 'Best all round presentation of a company in the Annual Report' , 'Best level of disclosure in the Annual Report' and 'Best Annual Report in the Extractive Industry' at the Securities Market magazine competition. The leading global potash producer also picked up the award for 'Best disclosure of information in the Annual Report' at the RTS-MICEX competition and 'Best design' at the Expert RA competition. 

Transcontainer were also triumphant, picking up awards for 'Best Annual Report' in the Transport industry and 'Best Annual Report' in their region at the Securities Market magazine competition as well as 'Best disclosure of information in the Annual Report (Small Cap)' at the RTS-MICEX competition.
