Black Sun ranked in top 50 in UK Best Companies to Work For

Moving up the rankings to 47th place in their second year of entering, Black Sun is proud to be recognised yet again, as one of the top 100 Best Small Companies to work for by The Sunday Times for 2011.

The Sunday Times Best Companies rating is achieved purely on the opinions of the employee’s within an organisation which looks at a varying set of criteria from employee personal development to employee confidence in the board and the future success of a company.

Staff numbers have increased at Black Sun this year and so have the survey scores. Up from last year, 89% (85% in 2010) of employees say that their work is good for their own personal growth and despite the current economic climate, they continue to have confidence in the future of the company which has risen by 5% to 77%. Employees also continue to have confidence in the senior management team (89%) and 87% of employees feel that they can make a valuable contribution to the firm’s success.
