Accountancy Age: Governance and risk reporting is on the rise

 

At Black Sun’s annual corporate reporting summit, a poll of the attendees found that 90% believed that governance and their transparency of risks has increased within their Annual Report, with most respondents confirming that those risks which are reported on are the 'actual' risks of the business.

Black Sun director of research Sallie Pilot called on companies to focus on the quality of corporate report contents, saying that "the format and delivery channel is secondary".
