Inchcape take home the award for Best Annual Report & Accounts (Business) at the 2010 Accountancy Age Awards
Sighting Inchcape as a ‘clear winner ‘, the judges felt that the report provided a clear outline of risks the business faced and set out explanations of key performance indicators, with definitions, achievements and graphical support.
The judges noted that the operating review provided a summary of each region with a table for financial highlights and charts to illustrate its point. The narrative was impressive as it discussed the market, the business model, operating performance and outlook. The management’s actions in the downturn were detailed throughout the report and their key priorities clearly explained.
The judges also said the report had a designer feel to it, had great clarity and was clear with a wealth of information that clearly showed what the business was trying to achieve.
Congratulations to all the team involved at Inchcape!
