Black Sun to speak at ICSA Corporate Governance Conference
Sallie Pilot, Strategy and Research Director at Black Sun, will be part of a panel discussion to address “Reforming Corporate Reporting” at the 2nd ICSA Corporate Governance Conference.
The purpose of this discussion will be to consider corporate reporting from a regulatory and best practice perspective, what its successes have been and what problem areas there are which still need addressing.
Sallie Pilot commented, “The panel session will look back at some of the lessons learned from the recent ICSA Hermes awards for transparency in governance, and consider the potential for wider reporting reform. We will also review the current state of reporting and highlight some of the areas which still need addressing in terms of governance reporting which will ensure a lively debate.”
This one-day conference entitled ‘Lessons from a crisis’ offers practical insight into some of the key changes framed in the draft new Corporate Governance Code, which takes effect in June 2010.
The conference takes place at Congress Centre on 17th March with notable attendees to include:
Conference Chair: Anthony Hilton, City Editor, London Evening Standard
