Black Sun Charity bike ride- Challenge Completed

Black Sun today successfully completed their 80km journey from Fulham to Brighton sea front and raised over £5,700 in donations, as part of their contribution to help the relief effort following the devastating earthquake in Haiti.

Commencing their journey at 7am on a crisp Sunday morning, the Black Sun ‘80 for Haiti’ team endured punctured tyres, broken chains and aching limbs to finally reach the sea front by mid-afternoon.

Paul Edison, Creative Director at Black Sun commented, “This was a true team effort by everyone involved which is a reflection of the determination and can do spirit of our Black Sun employees. Everyone got behind the initiative with great enthusiasm and were more than happy to sacrifice their personal time. The day was a lot of fun but most importantly, we raised over £5,700 for a very worthy cause.”

You can continue to make a donation at our Just Giving webpage.

Thank you to all that have already given generously and supported us on our journey.

Sponsorship raised will be donated to the Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC), an organisation created to unite agency efforts in times of disaster, wherever it happens in the world.

The DEC was selected by Black Sun as it brings together, at times of overseas emergency, a unique alliance of the UK's aid, corporate, public and broadcasting sectors to rally the nation's compassion, and ensure that funds raised go to DEC agencies best placed to deliver effective and timely relief to people most in need.
