Black Sun client, BAE Systems has received another award nomination for their latest annual report at these 2010 industry awards. The shortlisting is based on the judges looking for an organisation which most clearly describes their strategy in the narrative section of their annual report.

Judges also based their shortlisting on a report that demonstrated:

• a clear and transparent description of the organisation’s strategy demonstrating a thorough understanding of the organisation’s business model and how it interacts with the external market place
• a clear link between strategy, performance (KPIs) and risk within the report
• innovative use of graphical representation, which could include the use of bar/bridge charts, statistics and trend analysis to explain the organisation’s strategy to stakeholders.

The winner will be announced on 22 November 2010 at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

The CIMA annual awards recognise the people, teams and organisations who are leading the way within the profession.  They honour members, students and suppliers who have achieved outstanding global success during 2010.
