Black Sun is pleased to announce that eight of their clients have been shortlisted for the upcoming major industry awards.
The ICSA Hermes Transparency in Governance Awards, which are to be announced at the awards ceremony on 17th November 2010, have nominated BAE Systems for the FTSE 100 categories: Best annual report; Best risk management disclosure; Best board disclosure; and Best strategy disclosure.
Rio Tinto has also been nominated at these awards for the FTSE 100: Best sustainability and stakeholder disclosure category.
In the FTSE 250 categories: Amlin have been nominated for: Best annual report; Best audit disclosure; Best risk management disclosure; and Best strategy disclosure and Taylor Wimpey has been nominated for: Best risk management disclosure; and Best strategy disclosure.
On the same evening, the results will be announced at the Accountancy Age Awards where Rio Tinto and Tullow Oil have both been nominated in the Annual report and accounts FTSE 100 category.
BAE Systems have also been shortlisted for: Best annual report of the year at the 2010 CIMA Awards with the winner to be announced on the 22nd November 2010.
The IR Society Best Practice Awards, which will be announced on the 23rd November 2010, have nominated Tullow Oil for: Most effective overall Annual Report FTSE 100 (printed and online) and Xstrata for the: Best communication of corporate responsibility in the Annual Report FTSE 100. Go Ahead Group is also nominated for: Most effective overall Annual Report FTSE 250 (printed and online) category.
Finally, Rank Group has been nominated in the CorpComms Awards, to be announced on the 24th November 2010, for: Best annual report - Private sector companies
