We are delighted to have enjoyed a successful evening at the annual Investor Relations Society Best Practice Awards 2018.

The IR Society’s flagship Best Practice Awards have influenced many improvements in investor relations practice over the years and are a much prized recognition of best in class performance. Black Sun is delighted that Taylor Wimpey and G4S were among the successful companies.

Taylor Wimpey won Best Annual Report - FTSE 100 and was the outstanding entry in this category. The annual report had an excellent layout with good links between KPIs, strategy and remuneration. Rich in content, the judges also remarked that it was a ‘refreshingly honest view of a challenging sector.’

G4S were highly commended for most effective integration of ESG – FTSE 250 category. The judges were particularly impressed with the demonstration of how social responsibility was well integrated into their strategy. Within this competitive category we also had Cola-Cola HBC and GO-Ahead Group shortlisted.

​While not all clients could be a winner on the evening, we were still very proud to have so many shortlisted at this prestigious awards. This also included Best over communication of company investment proposition – international with The Adecco Group, Coca Cola HBC and Taylor Wimpey.
