Black Sun clients have a successful night at the IR Society Awards

Tuesday night’s annual Investor Relations Society Best Practice Awards recognised those companies that are leading the way in engaging with the capital markets, building trust, and strengthening corporate reputation. Black Sun is delighted that three of its clients; Taylor Wimpey, DS Smith and Go-Ahead were among the successful companies.

Taylor Wimpey triumphed in the FTSE 100 category for best overall communication of company investment proposition, and performed consistently well across other award categories, also achieving a highly commended in the best annual report category.

DS Smith claimed the award for best annual report FTSE 250 and was highly commended for best overall communication of company investment proposition FTSE 250.

Finally, Go-Ahead continued their winning streak last night by taking home the prize for most effective integration of sustainability reporting into communications FTSE 250.

Now in their 16th year, IR Society Self-entry Awards are open to all companies that wish to demonstrate their commitment to leading investor communications. This year’s awards saw over 170 entries and a gala awards dinner attended by almost 600 IR professionals at the Tower of London.
