Black Sun’s work on Uralkali’s Annual Report picks up six awards

An intensive week of investor and reporting focused events in Moscow saw Black Sun’s work on Uralkali’s Annual Report pick up six separate awards at three different ceremonies.

It started with the 16th Annual Report Competition organised by the Moscow Exchange on 12 November, where Uralkali won the award for ‘The Best Disclosure of Information in an Annual Report of an Issuer with a Capitalisation of over RUB 100 billion.’

On Thursday 14 November Uralkali again walked away with an award this time winning the category ‘Design and Graphic Arts Diploma’ at The Expert R.A. 15th Annual Competition for Annual Reports.

The culmination of this award-winning week saw Uralkali collect a further four awards at The RCB Magazine 16th Annual Federal Competition for Annual Reports and Corporate Sites, including: The Best Annual Report among Industrial Companies; The Best Overall Representation of a Company; The Best Disclosure of Information in an Issuer's Annual Report; and The Best Annual Report of an Issuer in the Ural Federal District.

Anna Batarina, Head of Investor Relations and Capital Markets at Uralkali said, “We are proud to be recognised for our efforts in presenting a best-in-class report that articulates our business and focuses on providing our stakeholders with a comprehensive understanding of our activities and performance. The process of producing an Integrated Report has enabled us to align our priorities and improve integrated thinking and practices across our business.”

Uralkali’s and Black Sun’s efforts in delivering a best practice report continue to gain recognition amongst the investment community in London where it has been shortlisted for “Best Annual Report in the private sector” at the upcoming CorpComms Awards.
